Lower limb exoskeleton
HANK is a lower limb exoskeleton for rehabilitation of patients with spinal cord injury, neurodegenerative diseases or have suffered cerebrovascular accidents (stroke). This solution consisting of 6 motorized joints allows functional recovery of gait and personal autonomy.
This medical device adjusts to patients from 1.50 - 1.95 meters in height and up to 100 kilos in weight, since it adapts to different anthropometric measurements without the need to replace mechanical parts.
The autonomy of the battery allows its use in controlled clinical environments for 4 hours of continuous running.
One of the characteristics to mention of this product is the motorized ankle , since this joint is essential to avoid seasons of foot drop and equinus , as well as being necessary for the impulse at the beginning of the swing phase and key to maintain balance.
