Gogoa and our neuro-rehabilitation therapy design centre Movex Living Lab Urretxu (Onbideratu) are taking part in the 'Urola Garaia Zaintza LAB' project.
"The aim of the latter is to innovate in a care model that, based on ortho-prosthetics, technical aids and advanced neuro-rehabilitation systems, enables the provision of innovative care at home, aimed at people in a situation of fragility, dependence or with reduced mobility in the Urola Garaia region, with the ultimate goal of improving their personal autonomy".
Apart from the neuro-rehabilitation treatments that we offer in our centre, the HELK textile exoskeleton will be used for the mobilisation of dependent people in homes in the region with the aim of avoiding caregiver injuries and increasing their human capabilities. This is a revolution for the social and health care sector.
At Gogoa, we believe that it is important to provide innovative care for the elderly who are frail, dependent or have reduced mobility.
